Description/

The Charmed Series Necklaces are playful, visually striking, and easy to wear in a variety of different configurations. Each edition is hand-made by the artist in steel, a more modestly-priced continuation of Rebekah Frank’s work seeing a necklace as a ‘drawing’ until it is added to the body, wherein it becomes fluid. The necklace can be worn simply as pictured, the placement of the ‘charms’ are left to the wearer. It can also be worn draped short, the charms acting as weights to keep it in place – or close and closed, with one triangle inserted into the other acting as a clasp.

After working as a welder and blacksmith, Rebekah Frandank received an MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan (2012). Since then she has maintained a studio in San Francisco, CA and was director of Art Jewelry Forum, an online magazine dedicated to stimulating the conversation surrounding contemporary jewelry. Rebekah Frank has been showing with Ornamentum since 2012 and was an invited panelist as part of the 2014 Design/ Miami lecture series.
