Description/
Tertium Quid is the combination of two elements, in this case ceramic and textile, and through it a previously unidentifiable structure is born. Much inspired by Indian craftsman’s statue of gods and goddesses with the elegant costume in clay, Hao recombines the fragility of both materials and solidify them into a single poetic presence of highly delicate and distinctive physical power. The extraordinary result, mysteriously uncanny yet comfortably familiar, can only be achieved by much painstaking, risk taking exploration and experimentation.
