Sabine Marcelis & Paul Cournet

Lazy Susan – Blood Orange was conceived by Sabine Marcelis and Paul Cournet during the Palazzo Monti x Etage Projects residency in 2020, where the two designers wanted to create an embodiment of the concept of meeting and sharing at the dining table. When the Lazy Susan are spun around, their off-centre axis allows the vibrant marble top to reveal the contrasting high-polished resin underneath, creating an additional meeting of worlds in the use of materiality.
Marble from local suppliers and finished by local craftsmen meets resin, produced in Rotterdam.
