Description/
Despite its accessible size and lively surface decoration, very few of this style cabinet were produced. Each with the same welded steel radial diamond pattern, they were individually embellished with braised brass decoration and a variety of finishes such as painted, patinated, and pigmented enamel. According to Evans Studio artisan, Dorsey Reading, “we probably made a half dozen of these cabinets.” To date, only one other cabinet of this design has come up for public sale.
