Description/

With a delicate yet playful form, Pamela Sabroso’s ‘Luminous Wallflowers’ sconce invites the viewer to bask in the soft neon glow. The muted, matte pink finish of the mouth-blown glass is accented with waves of glossy teal and violet stems and buds. Included with the piece is a decorative but functional wall attachment for housing wiring. This sconce is the second of three unique pieces that can be sold as a set of 3, please inquire within for more details.

The artist writes, “I am inspired by the stillness and peace I derive from being in the forest or looking at a flower. I want to evoke that sense of inner peace and harmony. The flowers are an homage to the beauty and sweetness of life. I am grateful for those moments when I can stop and contemplate the shapes and colors of a flower, how they grow to face the sun. Like a flaneur, I loaf and take my time to stop and smell the roses.”
