Atelier Biagetti
designer
The work of architect and designer Alberto Biagetti (1971) and artist Laura Baldassari (1985) challenges the boundaries between disciplines. Biagetti and Baldassari draw their inspiration from the world around them, from human behaviour and contemporary society’s greatest obsessions. Their work aims to construct an immersive environment full of hints and clues in which the objects that inhabit the space become actors in a possible scene, questioning the space surrounding them and the habits related to it. Atelier Biagetti has also collaborated with international design and fashion brands such as Memphis, Venini, Gufram, Valextra and Adidas. They have been chosen as the first Italian design studio to collaborate with the prestigious Louis Vuitton-Objets Nomades. The work of Atelier Biagetti includes installations, objects and performances and were exhibited in public institutions, private spaces, museums and galleries in Italy and abroad such as: Triennale di Milano, Design Miami, Art Basel, Secondome, Roma, Galleria Riccardo Crespi, Milano, Galerie Italienne, Paris, Roehrs & Boetsch, Zurich, and Patricia Findlay, New York.
