Description/

The Mowalola Sidetable is derived from the unexpected collaboration between Chapel Petrassi and Mowalola, one of the most exciting fashion talents from Nigeria. This signature piece was launched during Reference Festival in Berlin 2021 and was accompanied by a dedicated film piece. The side table combines Mowalola’s logo graphic on a tailor made HPL brillant laminate including a bold and geometric structure characterized by the metallic finishing.

Designers Marie-Charlotte Bassi and Diego Petroso founded Chapel Petrassi, a contemporary design and manufacturing company based in Paris and Naples. They specialize in handcrafted furniture and custom projects for residential, commercial clients as well as for galleries. Chapel Petrassi is defined by its fusion of craftsmanship and fine art with a high sense of detail. The designs are the result of a permanent mix of different visual codes drawn from contemporary languages and youth culture. The entire collection is entirely handcrafted in Italy. Chapel Petrassi was a finalist at the AD Design Awards in Berlin, 2016 and awarded the ICFF Studio in 2019 for presenting innovative designs and unique concepts. The emerging brand has established itself as a leading talent in the industry. Chapel Petrassi exhibited at 15th Architecture Biennale, in Venice during 2016, The Design Museum of Helsinki in 2016, FuoriSalone in Milan in 2016, 2017 and 2018, Galerie Le French Design by VIA, Paris in 2019, Jacob K. Javits Center, New York in 2019, Design Miami 2020.
