Description/
Very rare model of low table designed by Michel Mortier in 1957.
The elliptical shape of the top make it very elegant but also very functional as it liberate the space around the sofa.
The opalin glass part provides an ambiant light.
This table, even if is is a very minimalist piece of design, is remarkable by all its details such as the beautiful contrat between the white glass top and the walnut veneer. The detail of woodworking of the edges of the top or the cylindrical base which become an illuminated circular tray in the top. Everithing is a dialog between forms and materials.[
Materials: Cherry.
Style: French Mid-Century.
