Description/
One of Louisa Guinness’ first collaborators, Kapoor’s jewellery plays with our perception of space and materiality. In ‘Disc Ring’ we can see the influence of Kapoor’s concave installations whose reflections envelop the viewer. Voids appear solid, or as water encased in metal, or even sometimes as solid stone. These illusions, effectively distil a monumental practice of 3 dimensionality and polished metal into a personal object to be worn and engaged with on an intimate level.
