Description/
The Butterfly Chair series were designed in an attempt to express instinct revealed by particular motions and gestures of insects. Based on the wooden prototype created in 2020, the chairs were molded and cast with urethane resin in nine solid sections, then assembled and finished with urethane paint.
This project was made possible by generous support from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay’s Research Council.
