we+ is a research-based design studio that gives form to new perspectives and values through unique production methods and means of expression, developed on the basis of extensive research and experimentation. Founded by Toshiya Hayashi and Hokuto Ando in 2013, the studio aims to create a new intimate relationship between humans and our surrounding environment, as well as nature, through innovative design and emotive connectivity. The studio leverages expertise drawn from research and projects with various companies and organizations, ranging from installations to commissioned works, whilst showcasing independent works both in Japan and abroad.
