About

Galerie Meubles et Lumières was founded in the heart of Paris in 2014 by two young antique dealers, Alexandre Goult and Guilhem Faget. The gallery is dedicated to presenting a distinct selection of design objects from the second half of the 20th century, with a special concentration in the work of innovative lighting creators from the 1950s, including Jacques Biny, Robert Mathieu, and Pierre Guariche.

Most recently, Alexandre and Guilhem have developed a focus on the 1960s, exploring the avant-garde creations of the French designers associated with the Société des Artistes Décorateurs (SAD), such as Christian Adam, Bernard Govin, and Lionel Morgaine, as well as the exceptional productions of Verre Lumière, the French lighting editor that collaborated with major designers of the era, like Pierre Paulin, Michel Boyer, Ben Swildens, and more.
