About Galerie Yves Gastou
Expertise/ Post-war design, Contemporary limited-edition design
Featuring a façade in terrazzo by Ettore Sottsass, the Galerie Yves Gastou opened in 1986. Specializing in decorative arts of the 20th century, the gallery was home to the first exhibitions of 1980's designers like the Memphis group, Shiro Kuramata, and Ron Arad. Joined by his son Victor in 2005, they continue to display playful and spatial furniture from the 1960's and 70's. Today, the galerie continues its search of mixing and eclecticism, confronting 20th century works with those of contemporary artists like Agnès Debizet and Emmanuel Jonckers, forever pushing the frontiers of design.
