A New Home for Design Miami/ Basel 2013
In June 2013, Design Miami/ Basel, the global forum for design, will mark it’s 8th edition with a move to Hall 1 Süd, part of the new permanent exhibition hall designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. The grand and expansive building is centrally situated on the Messeplatz, Basel’s exhibition square.

For anyone attending the Art and Design fairs this year in Basel, Switzerland, walking through the Messeplatz is unavoidable. The tram stop, “Messeplatz, Exhibition Square” faces the strikingly large construction site of Herzog & De Meuron’s new project for Messe Basel- New Hall.
