Galerie VIVID, founded by Saskia Copper and Aad Krol in 1999, was among the first to show contemporary design in the context of both design and art.

For Design Miami / 2011, Galerie VIVID will bring its second solo presentation by Studio Job. Five new unique pieces, 'Containers II,' will be the focus of the presentation at the fair. Studio Job made these works in association with the world famous Belgian crystal producer Val Saint Lambert. 'Containers II' are full of paradoxes: functional and surreal, rich and poor, good and evil, large and small, beautiful and ugly, high culture and low pop. These Studio Job sculptures do not have to accord with our reality - their metaphorical embodiment of archetypes and iconography is a source of inspiration that revives authentic arts.
